Project 3 - Logo/Branding

For this project I want to explore the process of creating a logo and brand for a company that would be a competitor to Hallmark. Hallmark is famous for already having what a person is looking for on the inside of the card and many of the illustrations are very cute and cartoonish. I want to create a line of cards that are created from letters and turned into a pattern on the top. These cards will be more artistic and straightforward so that the person who purchases the cards is able to express their own thoughts and feeling for the individual who will be receiving the card. I want to create cards of different sizes and different shapes, with color schemes that are appropriate for the occasion that the person is receiving the card for.

After Critique

A had a lot of good things said about the mark and given a lot of advice one the concept of the company.

COMPANY CONCEPT

It's a online card company that allows you to choose the card you want to send, type up the message and then send it to the person so they receive a paper card in the mail. The customer is also able to choose a typeface and color of the design that is their choice.

CHANGES THAT I WANT TO MAKE

- Develop more of the website and make a working model

- Make some mockups of the cards that would be cohesive with mark, more geometric than organic.
